Carson Allen is an American actress based between Korea and Los Angeles, working across international films and television. Born in the U.S. and raised abroad, she spent much of her formative years in East Asia, including Japan and Korea where she became fluent in Korean and began her professional acting career.

 

Carson made her television debut in the Korean series The K2 (2017) as Raniya, and gained early recognition for her role as Helena in the acclaimed KBS drama When the Camellia Blooms (2019). She later appeared in the OCN series Voice. Season 3 (2019) as Tina, continuing to establish a steady presence in Korean television.

In 2021, she starred as a series regular in the Netflix original So Not Worth It (2021), earning recognition as a fan-favorite character and expanding her global audience. She made her Hollywood debut in the Disney+ series Armorsaurs (2026) as Kex, further marking her transition into international productions.

In addition to her television work, Carson has appeared in Korean independent films and short projects, including the Korea Academy of Film Arts (KAFA) production Matryoshka, where she played the lead role of Maria. She will next be seen in the upcoming film Munchie, set to premiere at the 2026 Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival (BIFAN), further highlighting her presence in the international film circuit.

In 2025, Carson received the Rising Star Award at the Korean Entertainment Awards, recognizing her growing impact within the industry. She has also been featured in international publications including BNT Magazine (Korea), OTS Magazine (UK), and Hygy Magazine (Italy).

Carson has trained extensively in both South Korea and the United States, studying techniques such as Meisner and Uta Hagen with coaches in New York, Los Angeles, Portland, and Seoul. In addition to her acting work, she has trained in stage combat and stunt performance, further expanding her range as a performer.

When not on set or in training, Carson continues to explore a range of creative outlets, including film photography and visual arts. Her work behind the camera reflects a strong visual sensibility shaped by her global upbringing. These creative pursuits not only serve as a personal form of expression, but also continue to inform and deepen her perspective as an actress.
